Beginning in the 9th grade, students who are identified as “college ready” will have the opportunity to take college courses offered by the Community of College of Denver and the University of Colorado at Denver. Students will be given the Accuplacer test at the end of 8th grade and in grades 9-12 to determine which classes they are able to take. Students who pass the courses with a “C” or better will receive college credit. Those students who do not pass the class may be required to pay for the cost of tuition. Students will have the support of professors and College Readiness Advisor – Yolanda Garduño.
